Triple Weekend course in Thuluth Calligraphy

This event relies on ticket sales, if not enough tickets are sold the event may be postponed, and you will recieve a full refund/or the option to attend at the altered dates.
*Due to personal commitments by the teacher, there’s a 4 week interval between lessons 2 and 3, you’ll be able to practice at home during this period.


Join us for a 6 lesson course in Arabic thuluth calligraphy. Learn how to cut a reed pen, prepare paper, study the principles of calligraphy, and make your own artwork on traditional calligraphy paper.

What’s included:

• Demonstration of pen cutting
• The history of calligraphy and modern day practices
• Practicing Arabic letters and words
• Writing sentences
• Creating a composition
• Preparing traditional calligraphy paper
• Making final artwork on calligraphy paper
• Workbook, inkwell, pen, practice paper provided for keeping

Ticketing: Upon purchasing a ticket, you will recieve an order confirmation, and your name will be added to a register. You’ll be sent more venue information before the event.

Refund Policy: You can obtain a refund if you request this at least 7 days before the course starts. Once the course starts, you’ll be committed to pay the full amount.

Minimum Recommended Age 14: If you wish for your child to attend and they fall below this age, please email me, as younger children can be accompanied by an adult if necessary. This is to ensure they can engage more with the material and don’t feel left out.
