I met Haji Noor Deen at Edinburgh Central Mosque in late 2015. He often visits for the Discover Islam Exhibition to teach and showcase Arabic Calligraphy. Luckily I caught him at a quiet moment and managed to get a photo with him.

Azim has studied Arabic calligraphy since 2012, specialising in Thuluth in the tradition of Shawqi Effendi. He works from Edinburgh on commissions, interior design and education projects.
