Book a WorkshopWhat You Will Learn
Each workshop begins with the foundations: how Arabic calligraphy is constructed, how letters are measured through proportion, and how to hold and move a traditional reed pen with control.
Participants then practise letterforms before joining them into words and short compositions. There is plenty of time for questions, individual guidance and learning through examples from Azim’s own work.

For Every Group
Workshops can be adapted for children, adults and mixed-ability groups. No previous calligraphy or Arabic-language experience is needed — the emphasis is on enjoying the process, understanding the tradition and leaving with the confidence to continue practising.
Azim has delivered workshops around the UK for schools, mosques and community groups, bringing the materials, demonstrations and teaching needed for a memorable creative session.
